Review of 2013 New Years Resolutions

Even though I've moved my blog elsewhere, I thought I owed it to this blog to review how well I did with my 2013 New Years Resolutions.

1) I feel like I did a pretty good job maintaining my creativity level, even if the sewing aspirations didn't happen. I did outsource a few project ideas to my good friend Joanna & they turned out great LOL I got her to make me & a friend a casserole carrier (which I love) and then I get many coffee cozies made and gave them as Christmas gifts. I love them too! In fact, I have an "order" in for a few more for Dexter's preschool teachers.

Our monthly scrapbooking night continued through 2013 and continues on into 2014. I'm so glad to be a part of that as we've made some wonderful friendship bonds there and it's so nice to have a standing date once a month!

I did a few more Pinterest inspired projects which turned out mostly well; very happy about that! You can view the inspirations and final results on www.chrissetall.com (hosted by wordpress.com).

2) Aspirations to be a writer... well that fell flat LOL So flat, that I didn't even do a good job maintaining my blogs. That one will have to be added to 2014's resolutions. On a sidenote, I let my Primerica licence go last year, but I just decided to renew it again this week. I'm having some reservations about that simply because I know it's not my passion, but I do love the "team mates" I would have and I love the learning component.

3) Being the Mom I want to be. Hmm, I'm really not sure how I fared on that one. One of my concerns at the time was that I would go against my instincts simply because I felt socially obligated to discipline Dexter on something. I think I've done better at that. Dexter is finally, officially potty trained so that's awesome. I think this resolution will also stay for 2014.
